The wait is over and we finally have a name and announcement about the new destination music festival in North Carolina that will be replacing Carolina Rebellion!
Epicenter Music Festival will debut at the Rockingham Festival Grounds in Rockingham, NC, on Friday, May 10th through Sunday, May 12th, 2019. The full lineup announcement will be released on December 10th at 9 AM.
Los Angeles-based Danny Wimmer Presents is one of the largest independent producers of destination rock music festivals in America and produces events including Louder Than Life, Monster Energy Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Bourbon & Beyond and more. They’re also the co-creators of Rock on the Range and Carolina Rebellion, two of America’s largest and most acclaimed rock festivals.
The festival producers say, “We decided to move our North Carolina festival to Rockingham so we could provide the incredible expanded destination festival that our fans want and deserve. With the move to our new site, we’re developing 140 acres into festival grounds, which will allow us to provide enhanced camping amenities, nighttime entertainment with no curfew, and expanded food and beverage offerings, all highlighted by a massive music lineup covering the spectrum of rock and alternative music. There’s always a next level to strive for – and after 8 great years of Carolina Rebellion, Epicenter is that next level.”
