Last night I posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, "How can 2015 be coming to a close already?! I'm not even done with 2014!" - and the statement could not be more true. While I didn't shoot nearly as much this year as last, I still ended up with a collection of shots that was terribly hard to narrow down to my favorites... but, here's a few select highlights.

January kicked off to a strong start with Mushroomhead, Periphery, Nothing More and Black Label Society.

The highlight of February was shooting Black Veil Brides at what has now become my favorite venue, The National, in Richmond, VA.

One of my photos of vocalist Andy Biersack from that show was shortly thereafter awarded a featured Daily Deviation award on DeviantArt.com.

The real fun started in April when I traveled down to Florida to cover Welcome to Rockville for the second year in a row. Finally got to check Slipknot off the concert photography bucketlist!

The following weekend, I skipped up to Virginia Beach to cover Lunatic Luau on Friday night before racing down to Charlotte, NC for my fifth year of Carolina Rebellion.

It has been an amazing experience to have been a part of this festival since it's inception in 2011. Already looking forward to the expansion to three days in 2016!

In between all the May festivals, I ran up to Niagara Falls and got married on May 10th. The honeymoon? Rock on the Range, of course!

In July, I originally intended on covering In This Moment on one or two of their dates in the Carolinas. Long story short, I ended up shooting them at every date they had in North and South Carolina, plus two dates in Virginia!

Chris Howorth and Randy Weitzel have a couple of my shots from the tour for sale as official prints and autograph cards in their online shops.

Nothing More, Otherwise, Kamelot, The Defiled, Dragonforce and Motionless in White were among others that filled the second half of the year.

Wrapping up the year, I was invited out to cover a handful of NC/SC dates on Like A Storm's first North American headline Didgeridoo Destruction Tour. Despite being in some of the smallest venues I shot at in the entire year, I still snagged a couple great ones.

Needless to say, I owe a huge thank you and shout out to In This Moment and Like A Storm for the awesome opportunities they provided me with this year. A huge thank you to my husband, who allows me to run off sporadically to every show I want (and agrees to ROTR as a honeymoon!). Thank you to Ashton-Magnuson Media, the DWP staff, Live Nation, The National, The Fillmore, Amos' Southend, and millions of other venues and promoters who manage to coordinate and host the most rockin' festivals and shows. Thanks to Nikon for making amazing and reliable photography equipment and Adobe for life (or rather photo) saving post processing.

...And finally, thank you to every single friend, family member, photographer, band and all the music fans and supporters that I've met and made along the way. As I leave 2015, you all have my sincerest gratitude and thanks for helping make all of the above possible.

Happy New Year to all, and I'll see ya in the pit soon!
